By the time the event was over, 69 bags of trash had been collected, as well as large items such as tires and barrels. "I don't think that was our peak number of volunteers, but it was by far our most successful day," Davies said.

Rex Rosenberg of Great Bend exhibited his Art Car Sunday in Peabody at the Cruise event downtown. Rosenberg covered a 1995 Subaru sedan with more than 100 pounds of teeth and dental products. Rosenberg has taken his car to Art Car shows and parades all over the country since he hit the road with his car "Chewbaru" in 2006.
