Babette Jones of Wichita serves up her "Made With Love" chili at the eighth annual Chili Cook-off at Marion County Park and Lake. Park and lake superintendent Steve Hudson said nearly $2,000 was raised in the cookoff this year, and 335 tasting kits were purchased, compared to 250 last year. The winning chili was dubbed "Hungrazilican Chili," for its Hungarian, Brazilian, and American components. The chili chefs were Bob McCurdy, Marcy Davis, Katherine Heidel, and Deborah Paixcao.
