Kansas Department of Transportation plans to change the U.S.-50/77 intersection at Florence from a two-way to a four-way stop. Work is scheduled to begin this week.
Eighty-two descendants of William and Maggie Westlake Summervill gathered at the family farm July 13 for a celebration of the family’s 100 years in Marion County. Descendants came from 11 states.
