Kay Navrat and Fred Housman will open two businesses June 4 at Fourth and Main in Marion. Navrat will operate Central Park Antiques and Housman will operate The Golf Shop out of the same building.

The sixth annual Sunshine Country PreSchool program and graduation was May 19 at St. Mark’s Activity Center. Graduates were Tyler Arocha, Brendon Bina, Katelyn Christensen, Kaitlyn Goebel, Peyton Heidebrecht, Jace Hett, Joe Jirak, Gregory Oborny, Shonda Ratzloff, Devin Regnier, Bryce Shults, Zane Slater, Ethan Thornbro, and Grace Vinduska.

Prices of regular unleaded fuel topped $2 Tuesday at Marion convenience stores and service stations. Increased gas prices are anticipated to continue during the summer months.

Twenty-one members of the Centre High School class of 1964 celebrated a class reunion Saturday and Sunday at Olathe.
