Eastmoor United Methodist Church will present a re-enactment of the scene in Leonardo DaVinci’s painting, “The Last Supper,” during Maundy Thursday services at the church.

Pupils at Marion Elementary School named as March students of the month are Emily Hague, McKenzee Remmers, Brianna Nguyen, Courtney Williams, Betsy Williams, Seth Savage, Derrick Ratzloff, Ashden Alcorn, Emma Calhoun, Corbin Wheeler, Ryan Bradford. Cameron Steward, McKenna White, Annie Baliel, Jacob Whitwell, and Eli Smith.

The winners were chosen by the faculty because they were responsible, respectful, and did their best.

Lori Garrett is the outstanding employee at St. Luke Hospital for the second quarter of 2009. Lori has been an RN at the hospital for seven years. This year she has been busy preparing for the opening of the new cardiac rehab program.

Marion High School golf coach Tod Gordon has named his starting varsity golfers. They are Luke Gordon, Landon Leiker, Lindsay Hett, exchange student Niklas Bronnert, Scott Jones, and Tim Costello. Nipping at their heels are Jordan Versch, Ryan Jones, and Adam Molleker.
