Congressman Jerry Moran toured St. Luke Hospital and Living Center Thursday. Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Ensey is pictured as he shows Moran the emergency room, which will be included in an upcoming multimillion dollar renovation project planned by the hospital.
Special observances reported in this issue include the 50th wedding anniversaries of Leland and Kay Heidebrecht of Marion and Sandy and Gail Dody of Wichita and the 65th anniversary of Kermit and Ruth Ratzlaff of Hillsboro.
A way car at the Harvey House Museum in Florence will be open for tours after the Labor Day parade. Robert Harris and other volunteers have been restoring it inside and out to its original condition.
