Three large and beautiful pictures have been received from the company for the walls of the Santa Fe station. The subjects are the Yosemite Falls, Catalina Islands and the Canyon of the Arizona. The Santa Fe continues to treat the town right in the matter of that station and the town appreciates it. There is no handsomer railroad station in a town of this size in the state and in fact there are mighty few handsomer ones anywhere in the state. But then, nothing is too good for Marion.
Work on the paving has been delayed several days by the failure to get brick. The trouble is said to be entirely due to the shortage of cars. There is only a little over a block to be done on Main but the Third Street work has not been commenced. The curb and gutter is being laid on Fourth Street, east of the Courthouse.
