The Stout Motor Car Co., which has the Ford agency for the Marion territory, has leased the Old Santa Fe Trail garage at the corner of Marion and First streets.

Florence will observe Booster Day next Monday. The special feature will be a demonstration of a new and simple process for making cream cheese at home. It is said that with a simple outfit costing only for ten to twenty dollars, farmers can make cheese easier than butter and that the returns are much greater than from butter.

There were close to a thousand paid admissions to hear Bryan at the Chautauqua—this in addition to the season tickets.

The circulation of the petitions on the new school building proposition has not yet been quite completed. But, the reports at hand indicate that the required number of signers will easily be secured. General plans of the proposed building will be submitted for public information before any election is held.
