The Ray Entertainment Company consisting of the Ray Orchestra assisted by Messrs Rosse Sheets and Robert Florer and Miss Eldena Williamson as reader gave an entertainment at district 56 school house last night, consisting of orchestra selections, readings, male quartet, etc. They were given a cordial invitation to come again soon.

Wesley Kraft, local agent for the Mutual Oil Company, is driving a big fine new delivery truck which the Company bought for his use.

“The Feast of the Red Corn,” an American Indian Operetta will be given by the grades of the Marion school March 13. Evelyn Remmers will play Weeda Wanta (Queen of the Wanta Tribe). Albert Ehrlich portrays her younger brother, Impee Sight. The queen’s children are Harold Hauser, Fudge; Eugene Sheets, Pudge; and David Wheeler, Wudge.

Henry Sallee received a carload of new Dort cars the other day. “Dort cars are bound to be the most popular light weight cars in Kansas,” Mr. Sallee of the Marion Garage says.

Don’t forget that it is on Saturday morning of this week that the Dairy and Poultry Demonstration Special will arrive in Marion over the Santa Fe. Prize dairy and poultry stock of the state will be exhibited.

Tom Kellett has resigned as agent for the Cudahy oil people here and W.A. Remmers has been appointed in his place.
