Ground will be broken for the new Christian church at the head of the Elm Street hill Saturday afternoon at three o’clock. There will be a short service at which Rev. Ross, Rev. Weidemier, and E.W. Hoch will speak. Everybody is cordially invited.
Pie social and program at Wren school house Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving. Everyone come and bring pies. Edith Small, Teacher.
Fifteen men from different points over the county took the examination here Saturday for census enumerators. A number of the townships were not represented.
John E. Wheeler, County Attorney, left Wednesday for Ann Arbor, Michigan, to be present at the “home coming” of Ann Arbor University where he graduated. Randolph Carpenter, who has been attending the American Legion convention, also will be at Ann Arbor for this occasion.
The Frederickson Tire Co. has installed a free air service at their shop and has also equipped the place to do vulcanizing.
There will be a Missionary-Thanksgiving program at the Youngtown church Wednesday evening, Nov. 26th. Everyone invited. Supper will be served at the school house.
