Anyone desiring a copy of the Marion Co. Honor Roll will do well to order as soon as possible. The supply will be limited because of the paper shortage. The committee is unable to get any price for a second edition but copies run at the same time may be had for $7.00 per volume. One book free to each soldier.

Carl Washburn, Maurine Pantenney, and Ruby Brooks drew the boxes of candy offered by the Brooker Sales Co. for misspelled words in their Dollar Sales Day advertisements. There were about fifty contestants.

Several were arrested Tuesday evening for speeding and illegal driving. Many drivers have in the past few months been gradually getting worse in their violation of the traffic rules and officers are again making more rigid enforcement of the ordinance.

Mrs. Lawrence Riggs had a musical recital given by three of her music pupils at her home on Wednesday evening of last week. The pupils were Irene Scott, Dorothy, Peak, and Marjorie Pierce. A social time was enjoyed after the recital and light refreshments were served.

Returns of the assessors made to the County Clerk show that the increase of population in Marion County over 1919 is 2,293. Peabody City now leads the cities of Marion County in
