William Jennings Bryan will speak here on the Chautauqua tomorrow, Friday afternoon. This is extra to the regular program and the afternoon price is 75c. Nothing extra for holders of season tickets.

Ramsey on the Miller NW¼ 21-21-4 in the north end of the Covert-Sellers field came in the biggest well of the field Monday and is rivaling the big Urschel well southeast of Florence. The Miller has been flowing natural at around 2,000 barrels.

Adam Seifert lost two cows in the electric storm of yesterday.

James William Miesse Post of the American Legion is planning to have a champion football team this Fall. Alvin Wight, of Antelope, former high school instructor here, has been secured to coach the team.

Raymond Ray had the misfortune to break his arm the other day while cranking a Ford car. He is getting along nicely.

The Isaac Good home premises have been a wonderful sight the past few weeks. A profusion of old fashioned flowers makes the whole yard one big bouquet.

The home of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Young near Valley Center was the scene of the marriage at eleven-thirty on Tuesday, August 24th, of Miss Pauline R. Young and Mr. Edwin A. Hayen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hayen of east of town. Mr. and Mrs. Hayen will make their home on the farm east of Marion.
