Ten Marion Kids Wrestling Club members qualified for the District III state finals after placing fourth or higher Saturday at the Sub-District III qualifying tournament at Riley High School.
Tyler Palic won the 10 and younger 120-pound weight class. Jarret McLinden won the 10 and younger 150-pound weight class.
Kyle Palic placed second in the 14 and younger 165-pound weight class.
Galen Funk placed second in the high school 152-pound class. Evan Slater placed second in the high school 215-pound class.
Hunter Helmer placed third in the 8 and younger 95-pound class. Tyler Arocha finished third in the 12 and younger 110-pound class.
Gunner Brown placed fourth in the 8 and younger 52-pound class. Zach Lewman finished fourth in the 14 and younger 171-pound class. Cole Lewman finished fourth in the high school 140-pound class.
These wrestlers will compete Saturday in the District III finals at McPherson High School. Anyone placing in the top four at the District finals will move onto the state championships March 26 and 27 in Topeka.
