There was certainly some debatin’ among schools in this county last Friday. Six debates on that evening all had the same question debated. Lost Springs debaters were Lester and Faye Mowrer.

Rural schools of the county are putting in hotbeds preparatory to putting out plants and vegetables of various sorts. One of the first, if not the first school in the county, to promote this fine work is Williams School, southeast of Marion. Nola Woods is the teacher. Vegetables raised this way were used by students for lunch this winter. Lunch is cooked at the school — another fine thing, by the way.
