The senior class play — “Charley’s Aunt,” a three-act comedy — promises to be one of the best treats of the season, full of snap and a big laugh from start to finish with 32 seniors to give the specialties between acts. The evening will be full to the brim of more than 2½ hours of real enjoyment.

Harold Hauser broke his collar bone the other day while playing but is getting along nicely. Harold has had a lot of hard luck of that sort but he is a regular soldier about it.

Sam Jewett, the 11-year-old boy of Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Jewett, had a bone broken in his right arm Wednesday evening while cranking an automobile. Dr. Goodsheller was called and set the bone. He is getting along nicely.

Mrs. Ralph Bryan gave a pretty party Saturday afternoon in honor of little daughter Kathryn’s 6th birthday anniversary. The dainty little Kewpie invitations brought keen anticipation to all the little guests. The Kewpie favors of chewing gum and a fish pond out of which the little people caught unusual fish with unusual luck were sources of real delight. Bess Wible and Gertrude Bryan assisted in the entertainment.

There will be a Program and Pie Social at the Warren School House, District 87, Thursday night, Dec. 16th. All ladies bring pies, and boys well-filled pocketbooks. — Lucy Pierce, teacher
