Some sneak thief entered Henry Siebert’s cellar Wednesday night and cutting a hole in the door leading to the hardware store large enough to admit a hand, opened the same and entered. Several guns, pistols, pocket knives, considerable ammunition, and other articles were taken. We go to press before any clue to the thieves has been discovered, but trust they will be caught and properly punished.

Quite a number of Judge Doster’s friends met in Marion, last Friday night, to congratulate the Judge and talk over the events of the campaign. They feasted at the Elgin Hotel and had a pleasant evening together with some of our citizens.

Thomas Green was thrown from a wagon, the result of a runaway Monday, and had his left leg broken just above the ankle. Dr. Hannaford attended him.

Our enterprising banker is “branching out” as this from the Lost Springs Journal shows: “We are pleased to welcome E.M. Donaldson of Marion, as one of our new business men. Mr. Donaldson will soon open a bank in our city, occupying a portion of M.F. Shupe’s building.”

Save your appetite and change for the Thanksgiving dinner to be given at the Rink by the Christian ladies.

There will be a sociable at the Wren schoolhouse Thursday evening, to which all are cordially invited. The proceeds will be divided equally between the Sunday school and pastor.
