The Marion Cornet Bank has arranged to give a concert at the opera house next Tuesday evening, Nov. 26. The object and purpose of this concert is to raise money to pay for the instruction of the band. Unless the citizens of Marion render them some substantial aid, they will lose their instructor. We hope every citizen will help the boys out in their entertainment next Tuesday evening. Admission 25 cents.

And besides the other features of the occasion, a number of tableaux from Enoch Arden will be presented and will doubtless add great interest for the entertainment.

The Marion Ice Company, W.R. West, manager, has broken ground for an immense ice house down in the Inter State Addition. The company has secured control of the ice privilege on the Cottonwood from the mill to the Junction, and is preparing to do a big business.
