13 attend World Day of Prayer

Several gathered Friday at the Marion Presbyterian Church for World Day of Prayer. The Church Women United of Marion sponsored the event.

Thirteen attended. Those who participated in the event program titled “I Will Lift Up Thine Eyes into the Hills,” were Janet Bryant, Mary Ford, Sue Clough, Keith Allison, Connie Fisher, Fan Helmer, and Ann Carr.

A friendship day will be held by Church Women United at 3 p.m. May 2 at Valley United Methodist Church.
