Messrs. Kable & Summers have fitted up one of the most complete wood-work shops in the State. They have erected a shop 20x50 feet in dimensions and have part of their machinery already in operation. These gentlemen will take contracts for the erection of buildings, or do shop work at reasonable rates on short notice.
Dr. Glover is having stone quarried for a new dwelling, 18x36, story and a half, with cellar.
Billings’ Park will open for the season on Friday evening, May 24, with a grand dance. Ice cream, lemonade, and other refreshments will be on hand. Brumbaugh & Potter’s string band will furnish music. L.P. Jordan and B.F. Martin, floor managers. Everybody invited to come and have a good time.
