Battey’s Cornet Band will give a musical concert next Tuesday evening in Rogers Hall. Admission of 25 cents will benefit the band.
The new Record rooms are enclosed. We will have much better quarters than we now have.
The average small boy was happy yesterday. Ice on the streams was thick enough to bear.
The stonework on Mr. Case’s handsome new stone residence is nearly completed. It will be a fine and commodious building.
Two immense sun dogs made their appearance yesterday. When such large ethereal canines put in their appearance, you may depend upon it: It’s cold.
Mr. J.H. Costello announces that Santa Claus will make his headquarters with him this year.
The stone work on Mr. Jex’s stone business building is completed with the exception of the cornice, and we have no hesitancy in saying that it is the handsomest front in the county, or will be when completed.
Will Bates, proprietor of the peanut stand, is as happy as a big sunflower in his new quarters.
