BURNS:   20th Century Club meets

Norma Clark was hostess to the 20th Century Club on Dec. 16. Those attending were Rhonda Brenzikofer, Marie Clark, Dorene Kirkpatrick, Lois Sayers, Joyce Kyle, and guest Gail Topham.

On the evening of Dec. 14 Jen Stucky and grandchildren Mia, Elle, Nash, and Ike Green had supper and visited with Marie Clark. On Dec. 15, Marie went to Marion with Mack and Shayla Clark and Hadlye to watch Hadlye perform her acrobatic program. On Dec. 17, Diane Nelson took Marie to the dentist in El Dorado. They also called on Sonny and Joanie Clark.

Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to Manhattan Dec. 15 and spent the day with Mitch and Cathy Foote. The following day they were in Wichita and called on Joyce Barker.

Lois and Sandy Sayers went shopping in Wichita on Dec. 14.

Joyce Kyle picked up Lawrence and Lois Sayers and Mary Langenegger and in the evening Dec. 14, they all attended the Youth of Eden Church Chili supper and caroling at the Burns Community Center. It was a very lovely evening enjoyed by an overflow crowd.

Jim and Beulah Gehring called on Joyce Kyle in the afternoon Dec. 17.

The Burns community requests thoughts and prayers for Glenn Kyle and his family following Glenn’s accident on U.S. 50 and Nighthawk Road Dec. 2.
