20th Century Club plays bingo
Eighteen members and two guests played “Getting to know you Bingo” at a 20th Century Club meeting on Sept. 9 in a Marion restaurant.
Carol Laue created and coordinated the game.
Members were required to get signatures inside bingo card squares from others who had performed or experienced certain things such as “being bucked of a horse.”
Betty Sanders and Becky Summerville decorated tables with fall flowers in pots. Summerville also distributed 2014-15 club yearbooks.
Members ate panini sandwiches, garden salad, and pumpkin church cake for dessert.
The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. Oct. 6 at Hannaford’s cabin at Marion County Lake.
