Centre High School students Diane Hajek, Justin Falen, Jennifer Nowak, and John Rziha performed Friday during a performance of “Don’t Print That.” Marion High School students produced “Cheaper by the Dozen” this past weekend, providing a full slate of comedic entertainment.
Bud and Roseva McLinden entertained friends, relatives, and business associates at an informal social hour and buffet supper Sunday evening at the Saddle Horse Association building. The McLindens were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Their son Richard, his wife Patty, and their children Chuck and Susie hosted the celebration.
Six Marion students will be in the state speech and drama festival April 28 after earning top ratings at the regional festival Saturday. They are Shannon Connell, Kristine Bateman, Julie Sellers, Kristal Turner, Mike Kline, and Zach Vinduska.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Buethe of Lincolnville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Kae, to Mark D. Harms, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Harms of Byron, Neb. The couple will be married July 14 in Deschler, Neb.
