Barry J. Linnens, executive vice president of Cottonwood Valley Bank, Cedar Point, has announced the intended acquisition of Armstrong Bancshares, which includes Florence State Bank and its branch in Burns.

Randy and Judy Mills presented a history of the Strait Ranch and the Florence area. The couple discussed their progressive and innovative cattle operation and treated the group to refreshments.
