A second public hearing will be conducted March 15 on a proposed $269,000 project to make Marion County Courthouse fully accessible to the elderly and disabled.

Carrie Soukup of Goessel is winner of the 1993 Marion County spelling bee. Brian Smith of Peabody was first runner-up, and Diana Koslowsky of Hillsboro Middle School won the Maude Thompson plaque for third place.
