Marion High School students will present dessert theaters at 7 and 9 p.m. Saturday in Marion Municipal Auditorium.
Each event will open with a one-act play, “Visitor from Forest Hills” by Neil Simon, with the casts completely different for the two performances.
Money raised will go to student efforts to build a deck near the high school.
Centre High School seniors Spencer Hedstrom and Jannea Falen were crowned homecoming king and queen Friday before the Centre-St. Xavier basketball games.
Preliminary names and numbers to roads throughout the county have been assigned, and public feedback is requested. Meetings are scheduled in Marion and Hillsboro to present the plan for public comment.

Willard and Don Hett, Marion County sheep ranchers, were having problems with coyotes attacking their flock.
Don heard from other producers that llamas did a good job protecting flocks from predators, so they purchased Lenny, who proved his worth in a short time.
