Dean Pippin, State Farm Insurance agent in Marion has been selected for membership in the President’s Club of the organization. Pippin qualified as one of the top 50 producers of health insurance among 13,000 agents during 1977.

The “block of dimes” promotion for the annual March of Dimes campaign will be held this Saturday. The dimes will be laid beginning at the Marion National Bank corner and extend east as far as contributions allow.

William Kroupa has received an honor from the College of Engineering at Kansas State University. The honor was a Dean’s Award for outstanding achievement in mathematics and science at Marion High School.

Dean Batt, Marion attorney, took part in a panel discussion Friday at a Kansas Bar Association title insurance seminar at Emporia. The seminar was a full-day continuing legal education program designed for attorneys who handle real estate transactions.

Monica Klenda of Lincolnville has been selected to join the home economics masters’ degree program at Kansas State University, Manhattan.
