K.C. Widler, farmer in the Burns community who serves willingly on boards and committees, is the subject of this week’s Personality Profile by feature writer Ruth Meyer.

Cindy Harris was crowned Snowball Queen of Brown Mackie College at a winter formal recently at Salina Country Club. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Harris of Marion, she is enrolled in a court reporting course.

Jeff Brewer, vocal music instructor at Marion High School, reports that 11 MHS students have been selected for an all-state choir. They are Eva Sassenscheidt, Linda Schaffer, Julie Hett, Janelle Bowers, Lori Hett, Chuck Gough, Greg Boyle, Paul Loney, Bill Hoch, Jay Smith, and Brian Bowers.
