Lincolnville Wide Awake

Aaron Carlson talked about his dog, Spark, and Olivia Carlson told how to make oatmeal M&M cookies when Lincolnville Wide Awake 4-H Club met May 2 at St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Members decorated and planted flowerpots to be given to Lincolnville senior citizens as May Day gifts.

Olivia Carlson announced that an article about masks the club had distributed at Centre schools had been published in The Pledge from Kansas 4-H Foundation

Emily Casey led the club in singing “The Wheels on the Bus.” A roll call question about whether members had anything fun planned for the summer was answered by 11 members, three leaders, and two parents.

“Happy Birthday” was sung to Jymer and Jayda Raymer. Brogan Plett led the club in playing hide and seek.

The next meeting will be 6:30 p.m. June 7.
