CLUB NOTES
Happy Hustlers
Rylee Thomas talked about showing goats, and Antonia Baxa led a game of Wax Museum when Happy Hustlers 4-H club met at 7 p.m. May 12 at Marion County Lake hall.
Sixteen members, three leaders, nine parents, and a guest answered roll by naming their favorite Mexican food.
Gianna Baxa led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Evelyn Baxa led the 4-H Pledge and singing of “My Bonnie” and of “Happy Birthday” to those with May birthdays.
Club members were asked to help put flags in Marion Cemetery before Memorial Day and were told that the theme for this year’s county fair would be “Red, White, and Blue: This Fair is For You.”
Tri-County Fair will be June 10 to 12, and Marion County Fair will be July 19 to 26.
Members discussed raising money by making meals for farmers during harvest.
Refreshments were served by the Salsbury and Groening families.
The next meeting will be 7 p.m. Monday at the lake hall.
