Club notes
Lincolnville Wide Awake met 6:30 p.m. Feb. 10 at Lincolnville community center.
Ten members, three leaders, three parents, and one guest were present and answered roll call question of their favorite TV channels.
Delaney Smith led in reciting Pledge of Allegiance, 4-H pledge, and in singing ABCs.
Marion County Extension agent Tristen Cope visited to discuss districting with members.
A soup luncheon was held for Lincolnville senior citizens and grandparents at noon Jan. 25. Decorations included blue and silver colors, 3-D snowflakes, and hot chocolate snowman jar gifts.
The program committee talked about making bird feeders with pine cones, peanut butter, and bird seed with our guests. We hung the bird feeders in the Lincolnville park on the trees.
Four older members led in a Pickle Power practice, and Emily Casey led a horticulture identification practice.
Members sang “Happy Birthday” to leader Amy Plett. Delaney Smith provided refreshments and led in playing Duck, Duck, Goose.
Multi-County Club Day will be March 7.
The next meeting will be 6:30 p.m. March 9.
