Jackson’s clothing store this week announced the purchase of the Oyer Building on the south corner of Third and Main streets. A major expansion of their business in proposed after the first of the year.

The sale of Keller Refrigeration and Air Conditioning business to Mr. and Mrs. Harlow Warneke is announced this week by the two families involved. Friends of both the Kellers and the Warnekes wish them well in their new business arrangement.

The engagement of Beverly Pankratz to Bruce F. Sloan is announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pankratz. The wedding will take place Aug. 8 at Marion Christian Church.

A bridal shower was held at the home of Mrs. Etta Richmond April 5 in honor of Karen Dvorak, whose marriage to Donald Druse will occur the morning of April 25 at St. John Nep. Church, Pilsen.
