There will be an exchange of Kansas Highway Patrol troopers between the Marion and Salina office as of the first of January. Trooper Rex Clothier, who has been stationed in Marion for almost five years, will go to Salina, and Trooper Richard Dunbar, who has been stationed in Salina, will come here.

Pictured on the front page are four of the nine MHS football players who will graduate this year. They are Gene Schimpf, Larry Ensey, Richard Winter, and Francis Breech. Others graduating, but not pictured, are Dick Maggard, Ed Parrack, Gilbert Johnson, Dennis Swanson and Dale Fowler.

Mr. and Mrs. Dean Ollenburger moved last weekend from Hillsboro to Marion to take up their new position as residents in charge of the county jail. They replace Mr. and Mrs. Pete Pankratz who have moved back into their former home here.

Jane Brunner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Brunner of Ramona, was crowned 1964 Homecoming Queen of Centre High School Oct. 16. Jane’s attendants were Barbara Riffel, junior, Kathy Kroupa, sophomore, and Pauline Winter, freshman.
