Carl Covey and Harlow Warneke have started a new business here to be known as “Marion Trailer Sales.” The men now have several trailers in stock at their location at the corner of Main and Cedar.

Debbie Steinert was crowned Cougar Sweetheart Friday between games. A junior, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Woody Steinert. Her attendants were Virginia Ronsick, Mary Schubert, Sherrie Henke and Kathy Kroupa. Their escorts were Bud Peterson, Chuck Bezdek, DeWayne Patton, Kelly Novak and Raymond Bina.

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Pavey of Marion announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Eileen, to Harry J. Sieger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry F. Sieger of Wichita. An early summer wedding is planned.

Marion Hardware advertises a General Electric Filter-Flo Washer for $179.95, a matching GE gas dryer for $129.95, a 19-inch GE Color Television with matching roll-a-round cart for $375, a stainless steel Disposal for $33, and a GE Lakewood stereo console featuring AM/FM/FM Stereo tuner and balanced speaker system for $249.95.
