Air Force Staff Sergeant Don A. Maltbie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence C. Maltbie, Marion, has received eight Vietnam combat decorations at Travis AFB, California. Sergeant Maltbie received his second and third awards of the Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC) and his second through seventh awards of the Air Medal.

Jimmy Rigler was honored with a birthday party at his home Friday. The following youngsters helped him celebrated his sixth birthday: Randy Richmond, Casey Case, Ronnie Woerz, Rosana Cook, Betty Jo Finke, Lori Sturm, and Sherri Rigler.

Clarice Hammer of Marion missed $200 Wednesday at the Marion Cash Day drawing. Mrs. Sam Wasemiller, Durham, received $10; Sandra Dreier, Marion, missed $5; Gary Alexander, Marion, missed $20; and Mrs. Martin Hajek, Tampa, missed $5.

Lt. Milford Hett arrived in Wichita by plane Friday afternoon from Anchorage, Alaska, where he had spent several days visiting Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hett following his return from duty in Vietnam.
