Ronald Hiebert, 18-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hiebert, was critically burned over his body in a sudden gasoline fire Monday evening on the lot adjoining the Home Oil where he is employed.

Mrs. Ray Vinduska invited several kindergarten children for lunch Wednesday to help her daughter, Pamela, celebrate her birthday. Those invited were Loretta Smith, Janice Childs, Beth Thole, Mary Schimpf, Mary Westerhaus, Bobby Hoch, Kenny Gound, George Jackson, Wayne King and Dennis Conyers.

Mr. and Mrs. L.L. Hadsell celebrated the fifth anniversary of their residence in Marion Tuesday evening by having employees of the Farmers and Drovers bank as their guests for dinner. Covers were laid for Robert Brooks, Donna Miesse, Mrs. Paul Siebert, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Blankley and Mrs. Agnes Price.

Three freshmen were named on the second six-week honor roll at Marion High School this week with perfect straight “A” records. They were Pat Kruse, Carol Krispense and David Montgomery.
