8 Warriors named
to all-league teams

Eight members of the Marion Warriors football team were selected for all-league teams this week.

Senior running back Jameson Looper and junior linebacker Hitch Soyez were named to the first team by the Heart of America League.

Senior Kadon Mercer was named to the second team on both offense and defense as a lineman and received honorable mention as a kicker.

Looper was added to the second team as a defensive back and received honorable mention as a punter.

Junior wide receiver Jordy Raymer and junior defensive back Tripp Peterson also were named to the second team.

As an offensive lineman, Soyez received honorable mention. Others receiving honorable mention were junior offensive linemen Isaac Wesner and Jackson Howard and senior defensive back Jesse Snyder.
