Bret Dannenfelser

FLORENCE — Bret D. Dannenfelser, 46, passed away Feb. 4, 2014, at his residence after a brief illness.

He was born May 5, 1967, at Wichita, the son of Charles Dannenfelser and Judith Diehl Dannenfelser. He was a Marion High School graduate and attended college, becoming a licensed EMT. He later became a long-haul trucker, logging over 2.5 million accident-free miles.

He is lovingly survived by his parents, Charlie and Judy of Marion; his brother, Brian, and his wife, Stacy, of Houston; his sister, Jill Mason, and her husband, Todd, of Kingfisher, Okla.; nieces, Chloe, Emma, and Hayley; nephews, Jack and Dylan; special relatives, Eric Diehl of Fruita, Colo., and Jennifer Fleske and her husband, Carey, and their daughter, Lyndie, of Brookside, Mo.; and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at Florence United Methodist Church. Visitation with family followed the service at the Florence American Legion. Interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Florence.
