Aaron Hett won the Marion Country Club championship Aug. 3 with a score of 69, 3 under par. The second round of the championship was rained out Aug. 4.

In the women’s division, Judy Noller and Lindsay Hett tied for the championship with a score of 80. It is Noller’s 10th consecutive championship and Hett’s first.

Following the championship, roster invitations for the Bruce/Crofoot Challenge Cup competition against Hillsboro were set. The competition is Sept. 14 and 15 at Marion.

Invitations were sent to Aaron Hett, Joe Lovelady, Don Noller, Bryan Hess, Tim Christensen, Jerry Hess, Russ Hake, Tod Gordon, Tyler Smith, Tim Young, Roger Schroeder, Kevin Burkholder, Marlin Buchholz, Bill Lundy, Jerry Smith, Stu Meador, Nick Carlson, and Greg Carlson.
