K-15 near 330th Road

A 2009 Nissan passenger car, driven by Duane Edward Kippes, 72, Rose Hill, was northbound on K-15 near 330th Road at 10 a.m. Nov. 25 when it struck and killed a dog that was in the middle of the road. Berneda Jean Kipps, 60, of the same address, was a passenger.

U.S. 56 near 250th Road

Nathan E. McCray, 28, Pawnee, Okla., was southbound on U.S. 56 near 250 Road at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 28 in a 2010 Honda Civic, when the vehicle struck a log that was on the road. Passengers in the vehicle were Brianne N. Reichert, 26, and Elijah M. McCray, 1, no addresses on report.

400 block of Old Mill Road

A driver lost control of a vehicle in the 400 block of Old Mill Road at 6:40 a.m. Nov. 30, causing it to enter a ditch and roll on its side. Arlin W. Koch, 56, Wymore, Neb., was driving a 2001 Peterbilt truck and was transported to Newton Medical Center with possible injuries.

K-15 and 180th Road

A deer came from an east ditch and was struck by a 2008 Ford pickup driven by Dale E. Alderfer, 41, Newton, at 7:30 a.m. Dec. 3.

200 block of East Main St., Marion

Larry R. Kramer, 68, Emporia, was backing from a parking space in a 1999 Buick Century in the 200 block of East Main St. ,Marion, at 3:58 p.m. Dec. 8, and struck a 2004 Honda Accord owned by Greg Wedel, 3414 Bison Road, Tampa.

U.S. 56/77 near 220th Road

Donalyn Rae Biehler, 34, Herington, was southbound on U.S. 56/77 near 220th Road in a 2005 Nissan pickup at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 10, when a deer came from an east ditch and was struck.

U.S. 56 near Falcon Road

A 1995 Mercury Sable, driven by Amy Marie Pschigoda, 30, Salina, struck and killed a deer that came from a south ditch at 7:15 p.m. Dec. 12 on U.S. 56 near Falcon Road. The car was registered to Lloyd W. Pschigoda, 114 Floral St., Hillsboro.

1700 block of 190th Road

A deer jumped into the path of and was struck by a 2000 Ford pickup driven by Don R. Ratzlaff, 54, 302 S. Washington St., Hillsboro, at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 12 in the 1700 block of 190th Road. The pickup was registered to Print Source Direct LLC, 116 S. Main St., Hillsboro.

2900 block of 30th Road

Lucas James Hall, 21, Wichita, was eastbound in a 2001 Toyota pickup in the 2900 block of 30th Road at 3:45 p.m. Dec. 12, when he lost control and rolled over in a north ditch. Chase Hall, 14, Derby, was a passenger in the pickup. The pickup was registered to Dennis J. Hall, of the same address as the driver.
