A 2007 Buick passenger car, driven by Helen L. Reznicek, no age listed on report, 1785 E. 190th Road, Marion, struck both sides of the bridge on K-256 (Main Street) near Vine Street, Marion, at 7:50 a.m. Feb. 8. The vehicle slid on the bridge because of ice and snow.
200 block of East Main Street, Marion
Richard L. McLinden, 68, 2412 170th Road, Marion, was backing from a parking stall in the 200 block of East Main Street, Marion, at 10:05 a.m. Feb. 10, in a 2004 Ford pickup and collided with a 2002 Chrysler passenger car, driven by Gene Calvin Warnica, 74, 417 S. Coble St., Marion.
600 Western Heights Circle, Hillsboro
Roma A. Becker, 702 Sherman St., Marion, reported she had parked her 2001 Ford Taurus in the parking lot at Vogts Hometown Market, 600 Western Heights Circle, Hillsboro, at 11:40 a.m. March 9. When she returned 20 minutes later, she noticed a dent in the front and rear doors on the driver’s side of her vehicle.
U.S 56 and Industrial Street, Marion
Delmer Fink, 78, 1403 Bluestem Road, Florence, escaped serious injury when his 1997 Ford pickup collided with a 1986 Ford truck at 3:09 p.m. March 9, that was westbound on U.S. 56. According to Kansas Highway Patrol, Fink pulled out on U.S. 56 from Industrial Street, and struck the truck, driven by Edward Belton, 68, 2955 Nighthawk Road, Tampa.

Kay Ann Johnson, 58, Junction City, was northbound on U.S. 77 near U.S. 56 in a 2006 Cadillac passenger car at 6 p.m. March 13, when she lost control on the sleet-covered road and slid into a ditch.

A 2000 Ford Explorer, driven by Amy M. Rose, 42, 205 Kansas St., Lincolnville, slid off the snow-covered roadway at 6:20 p.m. March 13 and rolled.

A sleet-covered road sent a 2009 Honda passenger car driven by Sean C. Winebrenner, 24, Cookeville, Tenn., into a ditch at 6:54 p.m. March 13. Samantha B. Winebenner, 21, Cookeville, Tenn., was a passenger.
Intersection of K-15 and 180th Road
Paul Smith, 46, Wichita, was northbound on K-15 at 8:29 p.m. March 13 in a 1996 Toyota passenger car when the vehicle left the road and entered a ditch because of snow on the road.
300 block of Old Mill Road
A 2001 Ford Expedition, driven by Kandi L. Peacock, 35, El Dorado, was northbound in the 300 block of Old Mill Road at 9:10 p.m. March 13, when the driver lost control on the snow-covered road, entered an east ditch, and rolled the vehicle.
K-15 near 370th Road
Snow caused the driver of a 2005 Dodge van, Nicole M. Allen, 23, Fort Riley, to leave the road, enter a ditch, and drive through a barbed-wire fence at 11:05 p.m. March 13 on K-15 near 370th Road.
100 block of Sunflower Road
Melinda E. Banning, 45, 1948 120th Road, Peabody, was southbound in the 100 block of Sunflower Road in a 1996 Pontiac passenger car at 11:15 p.m. March 13, when she lost control on the snow-covered road, slid off the road and drove through a barbed-wire fence.

A deer was struck at 7:55 p.m. March 14 by a 2001 Lincoln passenger car, driven by Rose Mary Zinn, 68, 100 Poplar St., Lost Springs on U.S. 56 near Industrial Road, Hillsboro.
600 block of North Ash Street, Hillsboro
A 1996 Toyota Camry, driven by Gabriel Eubank Anderson, 20, 205 W. B St, Hillsboro, ran over a curb in the 600 block of North Ash Street, Hillsboro, at 12:44 a.m. March 15, and struck a fiber optic box owned by Century Link, Dallas, Texas. The driver stated to authorities that he might have fallen asleep.

Mitchell Allen Neuwirth, 22, 809 Weldon St., Marion, was backing a 1999 Ford pickup into northbound traffic in the 200 block of South Main Street, Hillsboro, at 9:20 a.m. March 17. Richard D. Reimann, 59, 308 S. Adams St., Lincolnville, was northbound on Main Street in a 1995 Buick passenger car and swerved to avoid a collision but could not.
