Old Mill Road near U.S. 56

A deer was struck at 5:45 a.m. March 31, when Charles P. Unruh, 59, 1437 240th Road, Marion, was driving a 2006 Honda Civic south on Old Mill Road near U.S. 56 and the deer entered the roadway.

U.S. 50 and Sunflower Road

An object came off a passing car at 10:26 p.m. April 4 on U.S. 50 and Sunflower Road and Carrie Lyn Newell, 31, 1001 Tanglewood St., Marion, who was driving a 2008 Ford Expedition, could not avoid the object.

30th Road near Timber

Sandra Elaine Fritz, 50, 294 Vista Road, Burns, was westbound on 30th Road near Timber in a 2006 Mercury passenger car at 3:07 a.m. April 9, when she lost control of the vehicle on loose gravel. The vehicle entered a north ditch and rolled on its side. The driver had possible injuries but was not transported by ambulance.

U.S. 77 near 280th Road

A deer was struck at 10:03 p.m. April 10, when Brandon Scott Koster, 21, Wichita, was southbound on U.S. 77 near 280th Road in a 1999 Ford Ranger pickup and a deer came out of a ditch and was struck.

U.S. 77 near 350th Road

A global positioning system came off a semi and struck the front windshield of a 2011 Ford passenger car at 3 p.m. April 20 on U.S. 77 near 350th Road. The car was driven by Virginia Leann Cole, 28, Herington.
