The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:
U.S. 56 at milepost 302
Charles F. Robison, 51, Great Bend, was driving a 2000 Mack truck, registered to HazMat Response Inc. of Olathe, east on U.S. 56 at 12:25 p.m. March 26, when a trap blew off the truck, hitting a 2006 Pontiac passenger car driven by Cristy G. Miller, 31, 406 S. Lincoln St., Marion, damaging the front bumper.
No injuries were reported.
U.S. 56/77 near 230th Road
Aguilera German Paredes, 46, Wichita, was driving north on U.S. 56/77 at 6:30 a.m. March 29 in a 1998 Chevrolet van, registered to TR Management Inc. of Topeka, when a deer came up out of a west ditch and was struck by the vehicle.
The driver was not injured.
2100 Block of South 40th Road near Timber
Pamela Kay Carter, 54, 216 N. Locust St., Peabody, was driving west in the 2100 block of South 40th Road at 9 p.m. March 29 in a 2002 Lincoln passenger car, when she struck a cow in the middle of the road.
The driver was not injured.
