The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:
330th Road near Mustang
Daniel Ridvan Denham, 23, 109 County Road, Tampa, was driving west on 330th Road in a 1996 Buick passenger car at 5:40 a.m. March 17, when a deer entered onto the roadway and was struck.
The driver was not injured.
2700 block of Kanza Road near 260th
Dustin R. Looney, 20, 2299 140th Road, Florence, was driving a 1999 Dodge truck, registered to Terry L. Looney of the same address, north on Kanza at 4:42 p.m. April 8, when a turkey flew into the path of the pickup and hit the windshield.
The driver was not injured.
700 block of East Main St. near Lincoln, Marion
Whitney Dawn Christensen, 15, 505 N. Lincoln St., Marion, was driving a 2001 Honda passenger car, registered to Timothy E. Christensen of the same address, east on Main Street at 8:17 p.m. April 10, and was slowing down because of heavy traffic when the car was struck in the rear by a 2007 GMC truck driven by Justin L. Siebert, 18, 1883 Clover Road, Marion. The truck was registered to Quinn B. Trapp, 1609 Turkey Creek Road, Marion. Camille Nicole Christensen, 19, of the same address as driver, was a passenger in the car.
No injuries were reported.
1500 block of Sunflower Road near 160th
Douglas J. Regnier, 45, 2182 140th Road, Marion, was driving a 2000 Ford F-15, registered to Jack Regnier, at 8 p.m. April 12 on Sunflower Road, when a deer ran into the path of the truck and was struck.
The driver was not injured.
Sunflower Road near 170th
LaVaugn A. Klose, 82, 122 N. Roosevelt, Marion, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox on Sunflower Road at 12:35 p.m. April 13, when she came upon a 2005 International truck that had stopped in the middle of the lane, unloading liquid fertilizer. The driver did not realize the truck had stopped and the Cevrolet struck the rear of the International that had been driven by Michael Alan Linscheid, 25, 216 S. Jefferson, Hillsboro, unloading liquid fertilizer. It was registered to Ag Service Inc., 1830 Kanza, Hillsboro.
Klose was taken by Marion ambulance to St. Luke Hospital with possible injuries.
Floral Street near C, Hillsboro
Michael Ray Ball, 23, 207 E. Maria St., Lehigh, was driving south on Floral Street at 3:30 a.m. April 17 in a 2002 Chrysler 300, registered to Shoncia Keough of the same address, when he struck a light pole on the west side of the street.
No injuries were reported.
