Mary Carlson, 81, 217 E. Assaria Road, Assaria, struck a deer driving north on Nighthawk Road at 6 p.m. Dec. 10. Carlson was uninjured in the accident. She was driving her 2011 Ford sport utility vehicle.

700 W. Grand Ave., Hillsboro

Christine Ayers, 26, 704 W. Grand Ave., Hillsboro, backed out of a residential driveway and struck a 2005 Dodge passenger car registered to the state of Kansas. Ayers was driving her 2004 Mercury sport utility vehicle.
