U.S. 50 west of Old Mill Road
Jeffrey Jeanis, 40, 1031 Kearney St., Manhattan, struck a deer driving west on U.S. 50 at 9:45 p.m. Feb. 21. Jamal Sigger, 19, was a passenger in the vehicle. Jeanis was driving a 2010 Chevrolet passenger car registered to Job Corp, 4620 Eureka Dr., Manhattan.
Nighthawk Road south of 120th Road
John Hanan, 40, 908 N. Maple St., Peabody, struck a deer driving north on Nighthawk Road at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 17. Hanan was driving his 1995 Pontiac passenger car.
Sunflower Road south of 180th Road
Janice Peter, 66, 421 S. Cedar St., Marion, struck a deer driving south on Sunflower Road at 8:09 p.m. Feb. 18. She was driving a 1997 Buick registered to Lila Hoffman, 203 N. 2nd St., Marion.
Main Street south of Grand Avenue, Hillsboro
Randy Carlson, 20, 609 N. Vine St., Peabody, reported that he passed out, due to his hypoglycemic condition, and struck three parked cars driving south on Main Street between 4:20 and 4:33 p.m. Feb. 20. Carlson left the scene of the accident. He was later stopped by Hillsboro Police but refused transport to the hospital to treat any possible injuries. Carlson was driving a 1999 GMC sport utility vehicle registered to Phyllis Scott, same address.
The first vehicle struck in the 100 block of North Main Street was a 2005 Chevrolet pickup truck registered to Cooperative Grain and Supply, 135 N. Main St., Hillsboro. The second vehicle struck was a 2006 GMC sport utility vehicle registered to Pedro Nieto, 405 S. Date St., Hillsboro; it was unoccupied. The third vehicle struck was a 2006 passenger car registered to Sara Bennett, 705 W. A St., Hillsboro. Russell Bennett, 38, same address was in the vehicle along with children Ian Bennett, 1, Jude Bennett, 7, and Gavin Bennett, 3, all same address. No injuries were reported by those in the passenger car.

Antioco Martinez, 53, 1033 W. 29th St., Wichita, struck an Atmos Energy gas meter at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 23 in the alley behind Hillsboro Senior Center. Martinez was driving his 2001 Ford sport utility vehicle.
