600 block of Orchard Dr.
Skylar Thornboro, 20, Marion, driving 2003 Accura Atlanta owned by Gayle E. Thornboro, 62, Norwich, at 8 p.m. May 1, hit a curb and a utility pole when she looked down to check a text message on her phone. She was cited for using a wireless communication device while driving.

700 block E. Sherman St.
Herbert A. Strauser, 63, Marion, at 9:20 a.m. April 26, backed a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer owned by Ronald George Graham, Marion, from a private drive and hit a legally parked 2019 Chevrolet Cadillac owned by Donlen Trust.

US-56 west Kanza Rd.
Thomas G. Harmon, 21, Manhattan, hit a deer at 12:48 a.m. April 25 with a 2018 Ford Focus owned by George R. Harmon, Otis. Neither Harmon nor his passenger, Daytona M. Lutz-Dobbins, reported injury.
330th at Pawnee Rds.
Amanda R. Salomone, 21, Hesston, hit a gravel patch at 4 p.m. April 25 and lost control of her 2008 Ford Focus. The Ford ended up in the ditch.
US-56 at US-77
Ulysses Tejeda, 24, Wichita, overturned at 11:11 a.m. in the US-56/US-77 roundabout while driving a 2000 Navigator truck owned by SD&S trucking, Park City. The truck was towed.
