According to accident reports released Monday:

SHERIFF

Kanza Rd. south of 220th Rd.

Steve Schale, 48, of Hillsboro turned his 1979 Massey-Ferguson tractor into a 2003 Pontiac Bonneville that was trying to pass him at 11:17 a.m. July 5.

The car, owned and driven by Brandon Rooker, 19, of rural Hillsboro, had been following Schale, who Deputy Derek Fetrow said turned left into a ditch without signaling.

Pawnee Rd. north of 90th Rd.

Halie Duerksen, 20, of rural Peabody lost control of her 1999 Toyota Avalon on loose gravel at 7 p.m. July 10. Her car went into a ditch and struck an embankment.

Chisholm Trail Rd. south of 190th Rd.

Lucas Sinclair, 19, of rural Hillsboro was injured when he flipped a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado onto its top at 6 a.m. July 12 after dropping off the road, losing control, and striking a culvert and railing, Undersheriff David Huntley reported.

Sinclair was taken by private vehicle to Hillsboro Community Hospital. The pickup, owned by Stephanie Sinclair of the same address, had to be towed.

Timber Rd. north of 40th Rd.

Larry Weber, 29, of Florence rolled his 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe at 8 p.m. July 12 after its right front tire went off the road and he overcorrected, Deputy Travis Wilson said.
