Angela Leiker, 26, 131 Colby, Valley Center, struck a deer driving west on 150th Road at 6:10 a.m. Nov. 1. Larry Pawloski Jr., 29, 218 S. Ash St., Hillsboro, was a passenger in the vehicle. Leiker was driving her 2001 Dodge passenger car.

900 block of Sunflower Road

Justin Chrisjohn, 35, 144 N. Roosevelt St., Marion, struck a concrete bridge railing before settling in a dry creek bed at 12:03 a.m. Oct. 24. The left front tire of the vehicle, Chrisjohn’s 1998 Toyota passenger car, failed, causing the accident. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

Briarwood Lane southwest of Grandview Court, Hillsboro

Kenneth Carlson, 59, 413 N. Ash St., Hillsboro, struck Albert Reimer, 86, 410 Briarwood Lane, Hillsboro, backing up while picking up trash on Briarwood Lane at 11:20 a.m. on Oct. 31. Edward Richert was a passenger in the heavy truck registered to the City of Hillsboro. Reimer was driving his 2011 Ford sport utility vehicle. No injuries were reported in the accident.

Robert Riddick, 47, 508 Cedar, Wakefield, struck a deer driving north on U.S. 77 at 9:49 p.m. Oct. 27. Riddick was driving his 2006 Ford passenger car.

Nathan Oliver, 33, 1915 Central Ave., Winfield, struck a deer driving south on U.S. 77 at 6:50 p.m. Oct. 28. Oliver was driving his 2006 Nissan passenger car.

Marisah Henderson, 24, 801 Cross Timbers Drive, Double Oak, Texas, struck a deer driving east on U.S. 50 at 10:02 a.m. Oct. 29. Henderson was driving a 2003 Toyota passenger car registered to Wendell Henderson, 8501 Lathrop Ave., Kansas City, Kan.

Milepost 309 of U.S. 77

Ricky Belongie, 20, 1810 Caroline Ave., Junction City, struck a coyote driving south on U.S. 77 at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 26. Belongie was driving a 2009 Nissan passenger car registered to Matthew Workman, 1011 10th St., Clay Center.

U.S. 50 east of Wagon Wheel Road

Charles Asbury, 61, 18 Hawthorne, Valley Center, struck a deer driving west on U.S. 50 at 9 p.m. Oct. 23. Asbury was driving his 2001 Ford sport utility vehicle.

U.S. 56/77 north of 290th Road

Darlene Hadden, 76, 812 Church Ave., Manhattan, fell asleep driving south on U.S. 56/77 when she went into a ditch and flipped over with a ¾ turn at 1:18 p.m. Oct. 27. Hadden was transported by Tampa ambulance to Herington Municipal Hospital by 2:30 p.m. Hadden was driving her 2006 Chevrolet passenger car.

U.S. 77 south of 140th Road

Richard Mounts, 43, 426 170th Road, Hillsboro, struck a deer driving south on U.S. 77 and rolled his vehicle, a 2004 Ford sport utility vehicle, one and a half times at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 28. Gina Mounts, 43, same address; Jace Hett, 13, 2729 Mustang Road, Marion; and Tristen Hett, 16, 2729 Mustang Road, were passengers in the vehicle. Richard Mounts and Gina Mounts were transported to St. Luke Hospital, the former by Florence ambulance by 12:15 p.m. and the latter by Marion ambulance by 11:52 a.m.
