Two vehicles sustained considerable damage at 7:55 a.m. Sept. 8 on A St. east of Madison St., when Brook Bradford, 16, of Hillsboro, allegedly pulled his 1998 Ford pickup into parking spaces on the south side of the street while attempting to perform a J-turn to park on the north side.

At the time, Jason Miller, 35, of Hillsboro was passing by in a 1997 Chevrolet pickup. When Bradford turned to cross the street, police reports said, the front end of his truck struck the front passenger side of Miller’s truck. Police said Bradford was issued a citation for performing a J-turn.

No injuries were reported.
